
Tramcar at Pwllheli, 1924
Passengers on a tramcar pulled by a horse at Pwllheli, Gwynedd, August 1924. The tramway was originally constructed to carry stone from a quarry near the town but it later became a tourist attraction and was popular with visitors to the area. This photograph was taken by the publicity department of the Great Western Railway, to advertise holidays in Wales.
