The Beatles being interveiwed by the media with Andy Warhol amongst the photographers. Tony Ray-Jones (1941-1972) received an MFA diploma from the Yale University School of Art, Conneticut in the summer of 1964. Until the end of 1965 he spent his energies photographing the street life of New York which included festivals, gigs, demostrations and parades. His work uniquely combines social documentary with an intensely personal vision.
