
Rotavirus
Rotavirus. The rotavirus is in the reoviridae group. It is the most common cause of severe acute diarrhea (infantile gastroenteritis) in young children. Almost all children are infected by a rotavirus during their first five years of life. Viral diameter approximately: 60 - 80nm. Viral magnification 1,400,000x at 10cm and image colorization with HDRI treatments on a Transmission Electron Micrograph view (TEM).
