
Rainforest with Philodendron Leaves
Philodendron sp. vines growing among many other plants on a tree in lowland primary tropical rainforest near Chilamata, Costa Rica. Philodendron is a familiar neotropical genus of plants that are made poisonous by calcium oxalate crystals in the leaves and stems.
