
Piccadilly Line is 100 not out
The Piccadilly Line part of the London Underground network is 100 today. The line opened in 1906 on the 15th of december and ran from Finsbury Park to Barons Court and then a section ran overground to Hammersmith. General Manager of London Underground Tim O'Toole and Mike Challis General Manager of the Piccadilly Line were at Leicester Square Station to wish it a Happy 100th Birthday.
