New Guinea Singing Dog (Canis hallstromi)
The New Guinea Singing Dog (Canis hallstromi) is native to New Guinea and is a relative of the Australian Dingo. They have remained isolated from other dogs for almost 6000 years, making them possibly the oldest of the pariah dogs. It is thought that the New Guinea Singing Dog is extinct in the wild, with only captive specimen remaining. World Wildlife Zoo, Phoenix, Arizona.
