Lathkill Dale, River Lathkill next to Bateman House, Derbyshire, England.
The River Lathkill is home to water voles and dippers, who benefit from its crystal clear waters. The rich woodland habit is home to Wych Elm (Ulmus glabra) among other species. The water is low in this section of the dale because of nearby underground lead mines.
