INFLUENZA VACCINE
Flu vaccine. Viral RNA is extracted from the cadavers of victims of the Spanish flu epidemic. Plasmids are then taken from bacteria and placed in contact with the viral RNA, then re-introduced into the bacteria, which then produce fragments of the flu virus. These fragments are used to create a vaccine which is injected into healthy subjects who then produce antibodies protecting them from the flu.
