INFLUENZA, DRAWING
Replication of the influenza virus. The flu, like all viruses, needs a host in order to replicate. The virus penetrates into the cell in order to duplicate all of its constituent organelles. Thus, a single cell can produce a large quantity of viral particles identical to the initial "invader".
