Hepatitis B virus (HBV). HBV belongs to the Hepadnaviridae group. Hepatitis B evolves towards the risk of chronic hepatitis in approximately 5 to 10 percent of cases. Cirrhosis can then arise 15 to 20 years after the initial infection. Viral diameter approximately: 22 nm Viral magnification 4 500 000 X at 10 cm and image colorization with HDRI treatments on a Transmission Electron Micrograph view (TEM).
