Brewer and pub owner Greene King Plc reported a 20 percent rise in first-half pretax profit on Tuesday . "We have benefited from our acquisition of Belhaven, which is proving a great addition to Greene King," Chief Executive Rooney Anand said. Greene King bought Belhaven, with 300 mostly urban Scottish pubs, last August for 187 million pounds. Profit before tax and exceptional items was 67.1 million pounds in the 24 weeks to October 15.
