Gentleman's coatee, 1936
Gentleman's coatee (detail) of dark blue cloth embroidered in couched and gold thread with an Oakleaf pattern. The uniform belonged to the Rt Hon Malcolm Macdonald, who was made a Privy Counsellor in 1935. He was elected MP for Ross and Cromarty, Inverness in 1936 and held the seat until 1945
