Aortocoronary bypass. The obstruction of a coronary vessel (in yellow) by a plaque of atheroma is compensated by the placement of bypass. A vessel (here, a vein) is grafted between the aorta and the obstructed coronary, downstream of the obstruction, so as to restore the blood irrigation of the heart.
