Boris unveils new apprenticeships
London Mayor Boris Johnson unveils a unique new apprenticeship scheme being created within the Greater London Authority Group, working with its suppliers and the London Apprenticeship Company, to help disadvantaged young Londoners (aged between 17-24 yrs old) into work. The scheme will target young people who are not working, studying or in education. The London Apprenticeship Company is part funded by the London Development Agency which aims to make employing apprentices a commercially viable and sensible option for businesses of all sizes.
