Benwiskan, County Sligo, Ireland.
The curiously shaped Benwiskin in County Sligo is at the end of a upland plateau known as the Dartry Mountains. The hill's unusual profile, resembling a mini-Matterhorn, results from glaciation of its limestone beds. From other angles Benwiskin appears to be more like a flat escarpment, only when viewed from the east does it assume such a dramatic form.
