2nd Maccabiah Games (Aliyah Olympics), Tel Aviv

2nd Maccabiah Games (Aliyah Olympics), Tel Aviv, 2-10 April 1935. Athletes taking part in the opening ceremony parade on 2 April. In total 28 countries took part in the games. The games were a way for Jewish people in some European countries to escape Nazi rule, and once in the Holy Land they stayed there.
